Description

Bake deliciously fluffy cake layers with the Biskuit Deluxe Baking Mix. This high-quality baking mix is ideal for preparing cake layers and sponge cakes, providing the perfect base for your cake creations. The mix only requires the addition of eggs and water, making preparation quick and simple.

Preparation:

For a 20-22 cm cake layer: Mix 250g of baking mix with 3 eggs and 25ml of water.
For a 24-26 cm cake layer: Use 330g of baking mix, 5 eggs, and 33ml of water.
For a 30 cm cake layer: Mix 500g of Deluxe Biscuit Mix with 7½ eggs and 50ml of water.

Preheat your oven to 175°C (fan oven 160°C). Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Combine the baking mix, eggs, and water in a bowl and mix at high speed for 7-8 minutes. Then mix at a low speed for another 2-3 minutes. Grease the baking tin and fill it halfway to two-thirds with the batter. Bake the sponge cake in the preheated oven until golden brown. Do not open the oven during baking! The cake is done when it feels elastic to the touch. Remove the cake layer from the tin immediately after baking and let it cool on a wire rack.
