Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These terms and conditions cover the contractual relationship between Bakeria and the purchaser (hereinafter referred to as “customer”) of any products offered through the Online Shop. No other terms or conditions are valid unless agreed in writing. Once an order is entered, the customer is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions published on www.bakeria.ch.
2. Prices
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), but can be subject to errors and adjustments by Bakeria.
3. Ordering
Products featured online represent a formal offer by Bakeria that can lead to a binding transaction. A contract ensues when a customer clicks the “Confirm Order” button, leading to a formal order of the product(s) placed in the shopping cart. Confirmation of receipt of the order, which is also an order confirmation, follows by email shortly afterwards.
4. Delivery
Ordered items are delivered as quickly as possible, according to availability. Partial shipments are possible. Completion deliveries are shipped free of charge.
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 2pm will be ship the same day with Swiss A-Post Priority so that you receive your parcel on the next business day. We reserves the right to demand a prepayment for new customers and high order value. For an additional surcharge, we offer to ship your parcel with Saturday Delivery. Please note, that wheter Bakeria GmbH nor the Post are liable for delayed shippings.
5. Shipment and insurance
Shipping costs are calculated automatically. All deliveries are handled by Swiss Post. Deliveries to a customer-defined location are handled at the customer’s risk and expense. Bakeria arranges shipping insurance only if a customer specifies this requirement in writing. Deliveries are offered within Switzerland only. Shipment is free for orders from CHF 100.00 (Not inluding workshops). Pick up is possible Monday - Fridays from 9:00 am - 11:30 am and from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm. 6. Guarantee
Bakeria extends a guarantee in accordance with the warranty terms of the manufacturer. Visible defects must be communicated in writing by the customer within 8 (eight) days of delivery of the product. Otherwise, the delivery will be regarded as accepted.
7. Exchange & Cancellation
Order placement obliges the customer to accept the products and services. Wrongly ordered goods can be exchanged within 14 (fourteen) days and must be returned unused and in their original wrapping.
Bakeria GmbH accept subsequent order changes or cancellations by the customer. Any credit card fees and shipping fees will bfor returned goods will be charged.
Please note, that we will charge Fr. 9.00 shipping fees, if the invoice amount is less than Fr. 100.00 after deducting the returned goods.
The following products can not be returned: food, as well as used products, incomplete goods or products whose original packaging is missing or damaged. Special orders and larger quantities upon customer request are also non-returnable

8. Payment
Invoices must be paid in full immediately on receipt of the invoice, using the attached payment form.
If the before-mentioned deadlines are not met, Bakeria may cancel the customer's subsequent order and charge the costs for reminders to the customer. A reminder automatically entails the of the payment method by billing. In case of legal recovery, this payment method will definitely be blocked.
In the event of late payment, we are entitled to charge reminder fees (up to a maximum of 20 CHF for each reminder). Invoices that have not been paid after the reminder period has expired will be passed on to the debt collection partner Infoscore AG. This is subject to additional processing fees. Bakeria reserves the right to check the customer's creditworthiness. By placing an order, the customer agrees that such a check may be carried out.
Bakeria reserves the right to deliver only on condition of an advance payment or a security given by the client. Bakeria also reserves the right that outstanding invoices must be cleared before we ship out new orders.
Bakeria may cancel an order if the customer is not creditworthy, if he/she has one or several outstanding invoices at bakeria.ch or if Bakeria has reasons to believe that the order is placed with intent to defraud.
9. Workshops / Course
Registration for Bakeria camps, events, workshops, and parties (hereinafter referred to as "courses") must be done either through our webshop or in writing via email to info@bakeria.ch. Registration obliges you to pay the course fees. Course places are limited and are allocated in the order of registration, subject to timely payment.
9.1 Course Confirmation and Payment of Course Fees
After registering for a course, you will receive a confirmation and invoice sent to the specified billing address. Course fees are due before the start of the course or by the date specified in the invoice. Payment of the course fee entitles you to participate in the course.
9.2 Course Organization, Participants, and Implementation
If there is insufficient demand or for other organizational reasons, a course may be canceled. Registered participants will be informed in good time and will receive a refund of the course fees paid. Bakeria GmbH assumes no further obligation to compensate.
There is no obligation to refund in the event of short-term cancellations due to epidemics, pandemics, disasters, unrest, or armed conflicts. In such cases, Bakeria GmbH may offer alternative options (online sessions and online camps) as possible.
For organizational reasons, individual courses may be postponed or combined. Affected participants will be informed in good time. If necessary, Bakeria GmbH may change the course instructor or appoint an equally qualified substitute. Such changes do not generally entitle participants to withdraw from the course or reduce the course fees.
9.3 Cancellation, Rebooking, and Withdrawal
Cancellations must be made in writing by post or email to info@bakeria.ch. The cancellation is effective from the date it is received by Bakeria GmbH. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute a cancellation, and the course fee remains payable.
9.4 Rebooking or Cancellation
Up to 30 calendar days before the start of the course, the registration can be rebooked free of charge to a similar course (at the same price) within one year. From 29 days before the course begins, the full price is due. If the vacated spot can be filled before the course starts, the invoice will be canceled or rebooked to another similar course within the current calendar year.
9.5 Missed Courses/Course Days
Missed courses generally cannot be made up. In such cases, the course fee will not be reduced.
9.6 Liability and Insurance
Bakeria GmbH excludes all liability for all courses offered by Bakeria GmbH, including liability for accidents, loss, or theft of items. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have sufficient insurance coverage.
9.7 Changes
Changes to the course description, such as program and price changes, are reserved and must be made in writing. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) are also reserved and can be implemented at any time without notice. If any of the preceding provisions are not applicable, the validity of the remaining course conditions remains unaffected. Course descriptions are part of the GTC.
9.8 Data Protection
The data collected as part of course registrations will be treated confidentially. They are used exclusively for internal purposes and will not be passed on to third parties.
10. Reservation of ownership
The goods remain the property of Bakeria until payment is made in full. A reminder fee of CHF 20.00 will be charged after the second payment reminder.
11. Liability
As far as is legally permissible, Bakeria assumes no liability for the improper handling or use of any of the products sold by Bakeria. Bakeria is not responsible for the contents of any of its partners’ web pages, and therefore cannot be held liable; the partner companies’ terms and conditions apply.
12. Area of jurisdiction
Any legal proceedings between Bakeria and the customer are subject exclusively to Swiss law. The court of jurisdiction for any claims relating to the contract is Zürich.
