The blue steel baking pan is ideal for making your own delicious bread, home made meat loaf, fruit loaf and pâté. Manufactured from heavy blue-stained steel, this loaf pan guarantees many years of satisfying cooking and baking. The Baking pan measures 30cm x 12cm x 8cm in high.
The blue plate baking molds is suitable for sourdough breads. However, let the sourdough go in a fermentation basket. In the blue steel baking pan sourdough should go for a maximum of 15 minutes. Tip: Sprinkle your bread with seeds such as sunflower seeds or sesame.
Please note: Before first use, the uncoated blue-steel baking pan must burn out at 250°C for half an hour. Then coat the baking tin (inside and outside) with vegetable fat and bake for another half hour at 250°C. Place the baking pan upside down in the oven, so that the excess grease can run out. The greasing of the baking mold should prevent the pan from rust. However light rust is normal on these bakeware.
Before baking grease the baking tin before each use. After use, clean the baking tin or rub ith with a dry cloth. Let your blue steel baking pan dry in the warm oven.
