A dough rising basket is used to let the dough rest and rise under optimal conditions before baking. The round fermentation basket promotes the optimal fermentation process. Place the kneaded bread dough with the bottom facing up into the well-floured cooking basket and cover it with a damp cloth. The bread dough can unfold in the bread basket and contains a beautiful surface pattern. The fermentation process in the basket takes about an hour. You can then turn the bread dough out onto a greased tray and bake.
To clean the cooking basket, tap it well and brush it with a damp cloth if necessary. The basket can be used to dry in the residual heat of the oven (max. 100 °C). The basket is not suitable for the dishwasher, and should only be brushed dry.
