This flower and modelling paste from Renshaws is great for sugarcraft flowers and modelling of figures etc. for novelty cakes. It also works well with Patchwork Cutters and other fine cutters. The white modelling paste is sold in a 250 gram pack.
With Renshaw's Flower & Modelling Paste its easy to create gorgeously formed flowers and leaves. This flowerpaste is easy to roll out to any desired thickness and will dry to form hard flowers. The modellinpaste can be coloured using gel, liquid, or paste colours.
How to use:
Simply work the paste with fingers to warm the paste and improve elasticity. Roll out onto a non-stick board using a non-stick rolling pin. Try using Sugarflair food colouring paste to colour the modelling paste!
Hints & Tips:
- Finished flowers or models should be stored in a cool dry place, away from moisture.
- If you are assembling decorations, leave them to dry for 24hrs.
- Keep any unused paste covered, and ensure cut outs are protected under plastic to prevent drying out
- Combine 50:50 with any of the Renshaw Ready to Roll Icings to give a superior set, plus a wealth of colour combinations
- When flowers dry, brush them with coloured petal dust to make them look more realistic
