To ensure that your first churros are a success, we'll tell you our favorite recipe. But you can also use any other churros recipe and let the pasta maker dispense the dough. Prepare the dough for the churros in a separate bowl. You only need the pasta maker to dispense the churros. For the dough you need 130g flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, 250g water. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt. Pour boiling water over the flour mixture and stir the dough into a homogeneous mass for about 3 minutes. Pass the dough through the pasta maker in portions and create delicious churros. Fry the finished churros in hot oil, always about 4 pieces, until golden brown. Lift out of the oil and briefly drain on a piece of kitchen roll, then immediately toss in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Recipe for a shortbread:
250g soft butter, 250g sugar, 2 packs of vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 2 eggs, zest of one lemon, 1/2 bag of baking powder, 500g flour and 200g peeled almonds. Blend everything in a food processor and refrigerate overnight. The next day you can pour out the dough in portions through the churros mold. Bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes. The finished cookies can be decorated with chocolate or glaze.
