Preparation: Ingredients need to be at room temperature. Use a mixer with dough hooks to mix 500g mix, 150 g of butter, 175 ml of water and 1 egg (50g) in approximately 3-4 minutes into a smooth dough. Mix 200g sugar with 20 g of slightly melted butter. Mix the mixture of sugar and butter for 30 seconds through the dough. Preheat waffle iron and grease both baking grids. Make dough balls of 70 g (approximately 15 pieces). Bake the waffles for 3-4 minutes in the waffle iron until they are golden brown. If desired, garnish the waffle with whipped cream or fresh fruit.
