With the potato gnocchi pasta disc you can make delicious potato gnocchi. It has never been so easy to create homemade potato gnocchi as with the Philips Pastamaker Noodlemachine and this potato gnocchi disc. The potato gnocchi die is with the Philips Pasta Maker Avance Collection without an adapter.
How to make the potato gnocchi:
250g cooked potatoes
120g semolina or pasta flour
120g potato starch (cornstarch)
1/2 teaspoon salt
The potato gnocchis works best if the potatoes have been boiled and mashed the day before. Then put everything in the pastamaker without any additional liquid. Knead for 3 minutes and start cutting the gnocchis. Beware, this dough comes out quite quickly. Let the gnocchis fall onto a well-floured surface (a mixture of flour and starch is perfect). Cook the gnocchis in a large saucepan. As soon as the potato gnocci swim on the surface, they are ready.
Tip: Of course, the potato gnocchis can also be refined with beetroot powder, turmeric or spinach powder. The potato gnocchis can also be frozen. Please note that the gnocchis can only be frozen after they have been cooked; uncooked gnocchis lose their consistency during cooking.
The Gnocchi potato disc is made of POM (polyoxymethylene), which is used primarily in industry for the production of precision parts. The pasta dies is very resistant, durable and dishwasher safe. The pasta disc is suitable for the Pastamaker Avance Collection pasta machine by Philips.
