Use: For removing dough residue from pasta dies
A clean pasta die, ready for your next batch! 🍝🧼 This practical cleaning tool is designed to help remove dough residue from the small openings of pasta dies. Fine and intricately shaped pasta dies can be difficult to clean with a conventional sponge or brush, making the narrow tips of this tool particularly useful.
The cleaning tool measures approximately 10cm in length and features a flat tip at each end. One tip is approximately 2mm wide, while the finer tip measures approximately 1.7mm. This allows you to choose the most suitable end for the opening you want to clean.
The two different tip widths make this tool practical for cleaning a variety of pasta dies. Use the finer end for smaller openings and the wider end where appropriate.
After making pasta, first remove as much fresh dough as possible from the back of the die. Allow any dough remaining inside the openings to dry completely for approximately 8 hours.
Once the dough has dried, gently tap the die to loosen the residue. You can then use the cleaning tool to remove any remaining pieces of dough. Carefully insert the appropriate flat tip through the openings from the front of the pasta die.
Tip: Always choose the tip that fits easily into the opening and avoid applying excessive pressure to prevent damage to the pasta die.
This makes it easy to target small pieces of dried dough and get your favourite pasta die ready for your next homemade pasta creation. 🍝✨
