Chocolate moulds made of polycarbonate are sensitive to physical and chemical influences when they are washed. That’s why we recommend you to notice the following key words when you wash the chocolate moulds:
- Maximum surface temperature of the moulds: 60°C (140°F)
- Please ensure that the moulds are not mechanically cleaned, for example with cotton wool, brushes or sponges
- Please only work with low water pressure – high pressure can damage the surface of the mould
- Please use cleansing agents, rinsing agents and anti-frothing agents which are only appropriate for polycarbonate
- Please take into account the dose instructions and the cleaning products recommended by the producer
- Please mind to rinse sufficiently. By doing this, you’ll ensure that the moulds have no cleansing agent residues left after the cleaning
- The mould’s maximum surface temperature of 60°C should not be exceeded both during cleaning and drying
- the moulds are stocked in a dry and dark room and that they are particularly protected against UV-radiation.
